Unfortunately, COVID-19 has struck home, as I tested positive on Friday and will have to quarantine until next Saturday. Let me tell you, this disease is no joke, as even while being vaccinated, it has leveled me in a way that no flu ever has.
Now on to the good news. Coach Scherer has agreed to take over for the week starting with tonight’s 6-8pm practice. The short transition will be seamless as he is more than capable along with the strong leadership of our captains and team as a whole, to prepare for next week’s kick off to the regular season. I cannot thank Coach Scherer enough for stepping in as a volunteer coach and taking the reins until I return…next man up indeed!
I have made a few changes to next week’s practice schedule. Wednesday, we will have the late slot, with JV going from 6-730 and Varsity 7-830. Other than that, the schedule remains the same.
Looking forward to getting back on the Court soon!
