By now, everyone who has followed the Bellows Falls basketball season knows that it ended at the Barre Auditorium with their 71-51 loss to the undefeated and now crowned Division 3 champion, Winooski Spartans. And, in turn, anyone who witnessed the semi final matchup knows that the Terriers concluded their season the only way they know how; with class and grit to the very end.
“What can I say?” said Coach Evan Chadwick. “These guys are so special. I will be forever grateful for the last four months and will cherish it for the rest of my days.”
The Terriers will loose four seniors in Caden Haskell, Peter Kamel, Jamison Nystrom and Jake Moore.

“Each of these young men brought a unique combination of leadership that our underclassmen latched onto,” said Chadwick. “They will be sorely missed next year. The impact they have had on the Terriers basketball program will last forever.”
BF ended the season with a 17-6 record and will return a large contingent of players next year that will put the purple and white firmly in the State Championship conversation for the 2023-24 season.
“Pre-season starts now,” said Chadwick. “We have had that taste of the Aud and it’s clear in looking at these young men’s eyes after our loss, that they are hungry for more.”
