It took little time for the Terriers to take control of their Friday evening contest against the Twin Valley Wildcats as they opened the contest on a 15-0 run and cruised to a 81-24 victory at Holland Gymnasium.
“I give a lot of credit to Twin Valley for coming here tonight,” stated coach Chadwick. “They were short players, but came here to play and they played hard, there is a lot to be said for that.”
The Terriers showed their depth, as 12 players scored, including Freshman Eli Albee’s first varsity points on a corner 3 that had the Terrier bench off their seats. However, the highlight of the night, was captain Jonathan Terry checking off one of his goals this season, when he converted a steal and dish from Jack Cravinho into a high-flying one handed slam, that electrified the Terrier crowd and put an emphatic exclamation point on the Terriers 5th win of the season.
“It’s nice to see the guys have some fun tonight,” stated Chadwick. “With all the cancellations, our boys deserved to smile.”
The Terriers take their 5-2 record on the road on Monday, as they face off with the Poultney Blue Devils at 7pm.
