Terriers earn road win at Arlington

ARLINGTON–The Terriers took their show on the road Wednesday night earning a hard fought 48-34 victory over the Eagles.

“Wins come in all shapes in sizes,” stated Coach Chadwick. “When you go on the road, play a tough opponent in an electric atmosphere, I will take any shape win we can get.”

The first quarter was a back and forth affair, as the Colonels and Eagles stayed within one possession for most of the quarter. Jackson Goodell scored 6 points in the frame to lead the BF effort in taking a slim 18-17 lead.

The Terriers started to stretch the lead some in the second, thanks mostly to their high pressure man defense. Walker James was magnificent in the quarter with 3 steals, while Jamison Nystrom scored 6 points At the break BF led 31-22.

The second half would see BF stretch the lead to as many as 16 on a Jesse Darrell and-1. BF would hold Arlington to 12 points in the second half and, despite missing several front ends of the one-and-one, were able to withstand any Eagle charge on their way to going to 3-2 on the season.

Nystrom led the Terriers with 10 points, Jonathan Terry followed with 8 points and 7 boards, while James contributed 6 points, 5 steals and 7 rebounds.

The Terriers are next in action on January 4, when they travel to Townshend to face off with Leland & Gray.
